Affinity Bank Appoints Construction Loan Manager

Ventura, CA - Affinity Bank executive vice-president David Mahan announced the hiring of Thomas G. Hallock as Senior Vice President, Construction Loan Manager. In this newly created position Mr. Hallock will direct Affinity Bank's construction lending program, including product development, policy administration and business development, as the bank positions itself for continued growth in its real estate lending operations.

"As our real estate lending business continues to grow, Tom will play a key role in helping us keep our construction loan program in line with market needs and the bank's appetite for growth. He brings a lot of solid experience to our team."

Mr. Hallock has fourteen years experience in commercial real estate finance, most of it focused on construction lending. Prior to joining Affinity Bank he held executive level construction lending positions with IndyMac Bank and Countrywide Home Loans. During his career he has been responsible for portfolios containing more than 5,000 construction loans and pipelines in excess of $1.2 billion in commitments, developed credit policies and procedures as well as led product development, marketing, training and system integration.

A graduate of the University of Southern California in Marketing and Real Estate Finance, Mr. Hallock earned All PAC 10 honors three times and All Academic PAC 10 honors twice, and holds an MBA degree in Finance and Management from Cal Lutheran University. He resides in Westlake Village with his wife, Allison and two children, Morgan and Benjamin.
