Affinity Bank Sponsors the Summer ArtWalk 2004

Affinity Bank and the City of San Buenaventura have announced that Affinity Bank has been named the presenting sponsor for the Summer ArtWalk 2004 which celebrates Ventura County's community of artists. “We are extremely pleased to have Affinity Bank as our Presenting Sponsor for 2004,” said Cultural Affairs Coordinator of the City of San Buenaventura, Robin Elander, “through our partnership, we believe this exciting event will be successful in bringing together local artists, studios, galleries, merchants and visitors to our community.”

Affinity Bank president and chief executive officer, Michael R. McGuire, stated, “Affinity Bank is proud to support the Summer ArtWalk. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to be actively involved in the celebration of our local businesses and artists in the community.”

The Summer ArtWalk takes place on Saturday, August 21st from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This event will span ten city blocks of Ventura's Downtown Historical District. Over 150 Ventura County artists will display their artwork at more than 80 downtown locations, including galleries, studios and "gallery-for-a-day" venues inside businesses and restaurants. Affinity Bank's Ventura branch will also feature artists' work on August 21st from 3 pm - 6 pm. This free event also includes live outdoor musical entertainment and kids' activities.
