Affinity Bank Announces General Counsel and Construction Lending Manager Appointments

Ventura, CA - Affinity Bank president and CEO Michael R. McGuire announced the promotions of Ventura County residents, Susan Ivers to Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Scott Thomas to First Vice President, Construction Lending Manager.  Ms. Ivers has been serving as the bank’s Director of Risk Management, administering the bank’s policy, procedures and regulatory compliance and overall risk matters for Affinity Bank since she joined the company in June 2001.  Mr. Thomas has served as a Portfolio Manager of the bank’s construction lending department for the past two years.

“These well-deserved promotions are the result of Susan’s and Scott’s hard work and dedication over the past several years,” said Mr. McGuire.  “As we’ve grown, we’ve asked Susan to wear a lot of different hats, and she has always done a great job.  Scott has only been with us two years and he has done an outstanding job of growing our construction lending area.  In fact, it is in no small part due to his hard work that our construction lending activity is at the highest level in Affinity Bank’s history. I am proud of the accomplishments of both of these people.”
