Affinity Bank Announces Two New Assistant Branch Managers in San Francisco

Ventura, CA – Affinity Bank president and CEO Michael R. McGuire announced the promotion of Larry Yu to Assistant Branch Manager, Sunset District, and the hiring of Stephen Chan as Assistant Branch Manager for the Richmond District. “I am very pleased to see Larry Yu receive this well-deserved promotion,” said Mr. McGuire, “he has worked hard since the day he came to Affinity Bank, he is a real asset to our company and the community. And Stephen Chan has an impressive background and excellent experience; we are happy he has become a part of our San Francisco team.”

Larry Yu, formerly Operations Manager for the Affinity Bank branch in the Sunset District, has been an employee of Affinity Bank for more than five years, joining the company as a teller in 2002. The branch, which offers personal and business banking products and services, is located at 2301 Noriega Street at the corner of Noriega and 30th. Mr. Yu holds an Associate of Science degree from City College of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science degree from San Francisco State University.

Mr. McGuire also noted that Stephen Chan has been hired to be the Assistant Branch Manager for the Richmond District branch located at 2501 Clement Street. Chan has held similar posts over the past three years at both U. S. Bank and Wells Fargo. In addition to his regular duties, Mr. Chan will also help to facilitate the branch’s move to its new location at 5160 Geary Blvd. in November. He holds an MBA and a Master of Engineering from Tulane University and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.
