Jim Taylor Joins Affinity Bank as Business Banking Officer

Ventura, CA – Affinity Bank senior vice president E. John Doyle announced the hiring of James (Jim) Taylor as Vice President, Business Banking Officer. In this position Mr. Taylor will serve the commercial banking needs of Affinity Bank’s business customers and prospects in Ventura County.

“We are very pleased to have Jim join Affinity Bank,” said Mr. Doyle. “We continue to find our business banking programs to be readily accepted by our customers as our list of products continues to grow. Bringing Jim in to help us provide effective personal service for our customers is the next logical step in our growth.”

Mr. Taylor has more than 25 years of commercial lending and corporate banking experience. Prior to joining Affinity Bank he held officer positions with Bank of America and Montecito Bank & Trust and has served as Director, Economic Development for the San Mateo County Economic Development Association and as the statewide Economic Development Manager for the state of Illinois under Governors Jim Thompson and Jim Edgar.

A graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration, Mr. Taylor is also a past instructor in Managerial Finance at the University of California – Santa Barbara. He resides in Thousand Oaks with his wife Sandy.
