Hermes Aleman Joins Affinity Bank as Business Banking Officer

Ventura, CA – Affinity Bank senior vice president E. John Doyle announced today that Hermes Aleman has been appointed Assistant Vice President and Business Banking Officer in the bank’s Business Banking Division serving the San Mateo/San Francisco Area. He will be responsible for managing the banking relationships of commercial clients and optimum structuring of large commercial credits as well as business development.

“Hermes brings a very successful track record throughout his ten-year banking career to Affinity Bank and our rapidly growing list of business banking clients,” said Mr. Doyle, “we look forward to him putting his experience as a private banker, Branch Manager and business banking officer to work at Affinity Bank. Hermes’ vast knowledge of cash management strategies provides results-oriented service to his clients,” added Doyle.

Mr. Aleman holds a B.A. in History from Cal State East Bay and an MBA in marketing and finance from Notre Dame de Namur University. He teaches business classes at Holy Names University and is involved in several non-profit organizations including Circulo de Vida, a cancer support organization, and A New America, a business incubator for micro businesses.

Hermes and his wife, Alba, have a 1 year old son, Alekzander Darcy. Hermes has lived in Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua and speaks Spanish, French and conversational Italian, and he is currently studying Arabic and Russian.
