Affinity Bank announces Partnership with Camping World
to provide ATM’s and On-The-Road Banking Solutions to RV Enthusiasts
Ventura, California, November 1, 1999 - Affinity Bank, headquartered
in Ventura, California, announced plans today to partner with Camping
World, a national provider of RV-related products and services.
The bank will supply low fee, high return on-the-road banking services
to Camping World customers and President’s Club members. They
will also offer ATM services in Camping World stores across the
United States.
"Member Specials" on Certificates of Deposit will be
the bank’s first step with Camping World.
Free* easy ATM access inside Camping World stores will be the next
step. In fact, the first ATM machine at the Camping World Kiosk
in Kissimmee, Florida, will be installed in December 1999, with
more to come.
Two recent focus group studies showed that RV enthusiasts welcome
the introduction of flexible banking by phone, fax, mail, and the
internet, if:
a) they can reach knowledgeable, friendly, helpful human beings,
not just automated phone systems, and
b) they can trust that their money will be safe and provide a
competitive return.
When asked about some of the reasons behind the partnership, a
