Internet banking with VIPbanker™ is more secure than ever!
Introducing Enhanced Online Security from Pacific Western Bank.

Pacific Western Bank is proud to provide the highest level of security for our Internet banking customers. To ensure that your information is secure and protect you from fraud and identity theft, an additional level of security is being added to our log in process.

Here’s how it works:

Enhanced Online Security verifies your identity in two ways. Every time you log in to VIPbanker™, the bank identifies you and you identify the bank using a private image and pass phrase that you select.

Enhanced Online Security Login

To enjoy Enhanced Online Security, just follow these simple steps:

1. Log in by entering your current Access ID.
2. Click SUBMIT.
3. Enter your current password.
4. Click SUBMIT.
5. Complete the enrollment form:
a. Provide a current e-mail address.
b. Enter a pass phrase for the randomly selected authentication image.
c. Provide answers to 3 challenge questions.
d. Select whether you are logging in with your personal computer, or a public computer. Please note: Only register personal computers that you frequently use and are not available for public use.
Note: You may log on from a personal computer that you have not initially registered and we do not recognize. We will not display your authentication image right away. We will ask you to answer the challenge questions. Once the questions are answered correctly, your previously selected image and pass phrase will appear. It is now safe to enter your password.

6. Click SUBMIT.

That’s it! The next time you log on, Enhanced Online Security will recognize you and display your private image and pass phrase. The steps are simple.

1. Log in using your current Access ID
2. Click SUBMIT.
3. Your authentication image and pass phrase will be displayed.
4. If the image and pass phrase match the ones you selected in enrollment, then enter your password. If the authentication image and pass phrase do not match, do not enter your password. Start over, or contact Pacific Western Bank at 800-350-3557.
5. Click SUBMIT.

You are now securely logged into VIPbanker™.

Change your Image and Pass Phrase

There are over 10,000 images for you to choose from. To select one that’s best for you, just follow these steps:

1. Log in by entering your current Access ID.
2. Your current authentication image and pass phrase will be displayed.
3. If the authentication image and pass phrase are correct, enter your password.
4. Click SUBMIT.
5. Once logged in, select Change Security Data under the Change Password menu.
6. Select an image from the library.
7. Enter a pass phrase for the image you selected.
8. Click SUBMIT.

That’s it! The next time you log in, your new authentication image and pass phrase will be displayed.
