Pacific Western Bank will NEVER ask you to disclose your VIPbanker™ login credentials or ATM/Debit Card Personal Identification Number (PIN). If you receive an email or a phone call asking you to input, update, or otherwise disclose this information, please contact us immediately at: (800) 350-3557.

The volume of fraudulent e-mail of this nature increases daily. It appears to be from the companies that you do business with, such as your bank or credit card issuer, but it's not. It is known as "phishing" and its purpose is to get consumers to compromise their own user names and passwords. Passwords and PINs are for your use only. The Bank has no purpose to know them. Be on high alert if anybody asks you for one — it's most likely a criminal.
